What I do

I collaborate with impact-driven businesses globally, offering tailored strategies that drive sustainable growth in reach, revenue, and meaningful impact, all aligned with your mission.

Each client is unique, as I provide insights and innovative approaches for business development, partnerships, sales optimization, and strategic marketing. These recommendations prioritize your company's values and ethics, not the pressures of viral trends and gimmicks.

You’ll quickly notice that my down-to-earth approach is personable and centered on adding value to your business.

My Connection With Global Artisans

I love working with socially conscious businesses, and there is a special place in my heart to support the global artisan sector. As a first-generation Hmong-American, the legacy of handicraft work is rooted in my Hmong culture and history.

Growing up with an appreciation for cultures different from my own, I’ve always been drawn to artisan craftsmanship across various people and places. No matter how unique or diverse, there’s a shared spirit and purpose in these traditions that connects people across the world. I find that powerful and beautiful.

Visiting artisan markets and meeting the makers are the highlights of my travels. I firmly believe that artisan creations transcend being mere ‘products,’ —they embody purpose, culture, and profound stories. Unfortunately, the value of artisan work today is overshadowed by exploitation, greenwashing, appropriation, and the dominance of fast corporations and mass production. I’m interested in using my work as a way to minimize the disparity and provide business knowledge to support artisan brands and their communities.

My Path

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to this theme in life:

Exploring new cultures and places while making a positive impact.

This theme has guided my entire educational and career journey. I have studied, worked, and lived internationally, earning a B.A. in International Management, and a M.A. in International Education.

Over the last 17+ years, I broadened and enriched my professional experiences, travels, and creative outlets —by learning and working in different organizations, cultures, and leadership roles. That diversity of networks and opportunities shaped and inspired me to start my own business ventures.

I created this consultancy to be of service, by sharing my skills, knowledge, and business passions. Additionally, I’m the proud owner of Wind & Echo, a creative pop-up showcasing women-owned handmade goods, and I am the co-founder of Zuahaza, a social enterprise and artisan collective based in Colombia. I’m usually imagining new ways to create impact, and at the moment developing a heritage project, currently referred to as The Layered Project.

What I Stand For

I am far from flawless, and I am committed to learning and growing every day. My values guide business decisions above popularity and profit. I am always interested in working with people and causes making a difference. I value preserving cultural heritage, dismantling injustice, and caring for the earth. Simply put, I want to focus on things that matter and work with people and organizations who share these values.

The Why

I believe there needs to be greater visibility, access, and support for underserved sectors that are working to make the world a better place. I’m determined to be a part of the movement and aim to be a friend and resource in the journey.
